It is all hands on deck for this musical recreation of the famous sea battle, when the audience play the role of Nelson’s two flagships’ companies, HMS Victory and HMS Sovereign. Our narrator, Lord Nelson and his crew recreate the events leading up to the battle, culminating in Nelson’s death and a moving funeral procession. Get ready for sea shanties a-plenty – Anchors aweigh!!
In 2005, this Classical Road Show production featured in the national programme of celebrations for Trafalgar 200, organised by the National Maritime Museum. Our performances took place in the QEH South Bank and in the Chapel, Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich.

Orchestration:
The classic orchestral set-up of strings, woodwind and brass teamed with an extraordinary amount of percussion to recreate the sound effects of a historic battle at sea!
